What is Neighbourhood Watch?
The purpose of Neighbourhood watch is to unite neighbourhoods in an effort to prevent crime, by protecting and enhancing their environment. It also had a wider benefit of creating stronger local communities. It works in partnership with the Parish Council and the Neighbourhood Policing Team.
In parallel with Neighbourhood Watch there is also Farmwatch. Theft of livestock and machinery is a growing problem in the farming community and, as Long Sutton has a strong farming community, we are keen to support the Farmwatch initiative.
