You can now call 105 to report or get information about power cuts in your local area.
You can also call 105 if you spot damage to electricity power lines and substations that could put you, or someone else, in danger. If there’s a serious immediate risk, you should call the emergency services too.
105 is a free service, available to people in England, Scotland and Wales.
You can call the number from most landlines and mobile phones.

Citizens' Advice is now running weekly sessions in West Street Church in Somerton every Tuesday from 10.00a.m. until 12.
They are hoping that this service might be of use, not just to people from Somerton but also the surrounding communities. Citizens' Advice offer help and advice on a number of areas including debt, employment, welfare, consumer rights and family issues.

Temporary Road Closure - A372
Somerset County Council as the Highway Authority have received an application for the temporary closure of Langport Road from Somerset Highways. This road will be closed from 6th March 2017 and is expected to last for 9 days (excluding the weekend) to enable prep and resurfacing works to be carried out in this road.
