SAVING LIVES AT SEA
SAVING LIVES AT SEA
I'm sure many of you will have been watching the extraordinary programme about the RNLI on BBC 2. It shows, in graphic detail, the incredible rescues that the voluntary and unpaid lifeboat men, women and beach rescue teams undertake in order to save lives at sea and around the coast. The bravery with which they risk their lives to save others facing terrible conditions often at night; and the tenderness & care they show to the casualties is a humbling sight. Please help us to support them by attending or donating to our various fund-raising events throughout the autumn.
